All I did was Google Canon 40-D and up pops several dealers one of which was 1 Way Photo that listed my $1,300.00 camera w/one 50mm lens @ $799.99 with two lens, a tripod, case, %26amp; blah blah so I bite. Next thing I know I get a call asking me to buy the battery%26lt; battery charger etc. Man if you by a car you don't expect to have to buy the tires too. Has anybody else found out about this?|||Yep. That's the typical scam.|||I'm sorry you got scammed. I hope you didn't get a "gray market" camera on top of everything else. You should try to cancel the order and then buy from one of these reputable on-line sellers:

When a deal sounds too good to be true, always check the seller at http://www.resellerratings.com|||Those things don't happen when you buy from reputable dealers (for example B+H), but I hear those stories all the time about others.
When the price seems to be too good to be true, it usually is.
