Will this camera snap a clear picture as soon as I touch the button?

I want a camera that will just take the picture as soon as I touch the button instead of waiting for the camera to warm up like I usually do for a few seconds before it take the picture. Will this one just snap the picture immediately instead of me having to wait those few seconds?

Light Metering Method: Partial metering |||I own this camera, and yes it's a dSLR so it's super quick and you won't notice any shutter lag at all. It's continuous shooting is also very good. Obviously the camera may take a little time to lock in the focus if the lighting is very low and you are using a slow lens, but other than that, it's fast.

As far as a clear picture is concerned...that depends on a number of things (the photographer, the lighting, aperture used, which lens you are using etc.).

I would highly recommend it...|||I think the kit lens (with IS) should be ok till you get a grip on the camera and which focal length/s you prefer. I didn't buy the kit lens, but instead bought 2 separate better lenses. One lens worth getting is the EF 50mm f/1.8. It's dirt cheap and plasticky, but optically very sharp.

|||sure? dont go to yahh answrs for this kinda question..i say go to best buy. bet ill be the only answerer|||Since the camera's an DSLR, it will. If you use the flash though, it might not, since the flash's capacitors need time to regain their charge for another discharge.

Also, since it's an DSLR, while it'll take a shot straight away, it won't auto-focus, or adjust it's settings for the best possible shot, so you've got to make sure you do all that before hitting the shutter button.
