which one u prefer ? what is the big different|||Both are excellent cameras, and both have good optics. It becomes a matter of personal preference.
Go to http://dpreview.com and compare the 2 side by side, read the reviews and study the sample images. Then go to a store and handle the cameras, play with the controls and the menus.
Bottom line, buy the one which you feel most comfortable using.|||My guess is the the Leica probably has some advantage in optical quality. It should at that price. The Leica's zoom range is the 135 equivalent of 24-60mm. The Canon's is 28-105mm. I would find the Canon's range more useful.|||Personally I prefer leica d lux 4.Beautiful pictures
