The foot was yanked off when my model tripped over it. You can see different colored cables hanging out of the open "ankle" while the foot I was able to free from the hot shoe.
I remember when my 30D's shutter broke and my 50mm 1.4's auto focus died, Canon I believe replaced them for free. Now this problem looks a lot messier, do you think they will still replace for free?|||Only if you bought a extended warranty or replacement plan... they warranty that comes with the flash doesn't cover accidents.
