Digi-cam help...................?

i'm a first time buyer


i've shortlisted to 2 models CANON SX100 IS and SONY DSC H10


Both r somewhat in the same range and with similar features.


Minor differences are: CANON'S got those AA batteries, bit slower in speed and 2 years warranty


SONY'S got 3 years warranty, expandable lenses, lithium batteries





I've read reviews stating canon's got a much better image quality.


Sony is not that good when it comes to digital imaging





Not able to make up mind


Information about other models will be appreciated.

I would not suggest you from any of your shortlisted cams, reason being is availability of better cam that too in lower price.


would suggest you to go for DMC-TZ15 (Panasonic).. this is a great combi of best features and is latest available in india.. go for it!


look at the features: 10x opt. zoom that too in a compact form; nice and accurate Intelligent Exposure mode; also have HD video recording; sexy clear 460K-pixel 3-inch LCD screen; captures detailed images with vibrant and superb colors, nice flash, fresh %26amp; intuitive interface





I already have it and will not give more thoughts in recommending.. as this is a gem
